I really think its time to update this little 2 megabits of the net more often (even if it is in the wee hours of the night). I'm still having a blast living in the zoo, but still miss all the old gang. It will be great when G-rad moves in, that will be one hell of a ride. Exer got a new job in the afternoon so I hardly see him any more, but we still will try to party as often as we can.
So for all you hardware music freaks back home I just found out last night that Hastings sells
T-amps (pays to walk around now and then). I'll be picking one up soon and I'll keep you up to date on performance and mods.
I recently found out about a new web-app from the good folks at
hak.5.
Pandora is a flash based music player that creates a play list based off of bands and songs that you already like. Once you have a customized "station" playing you can further shape it by giving songs a thumbs up or down. This creates a great way to find new bands and if you look around there is a little java code floating around that lets you "time shift" the site, which is great if you would like to use the site away from home.
